Connect PayPal

Use a PayPal REST app client ID and secret so buyers can pay with PayPal.

PayPal payments go to the PayPal account that owns the REST app credentials.

  1. Open the PayPal Developer Dashboard.
  2. Go to Apps & Credentials.
  3. Create or open a REST app.
  4. Copy the Client ID and Secret.
  5. In TrakRoom, open Dashboard > Payments > PayPal.
  6. Paste Client ID and Client secret.
  7. Choose Test / sandbox while testing, or Live when using live credentials.
  8. Enable PayPal and save.

Testing: 1. Use PayPal sandbox buyer and seller accounts for test mode. 2. Place a test order from your storefront. 3. Confirm the order redirects back to your TrakRoom success page.
